Carla Steyn (April 2011)

The first words Carla said to me were: "I want something different!" And yes, her stunning dress was different, but not compromising
on elegance and beauty. Both the front and back bodice, made of dotted mesh, had lace applique and vintage embroidery
going down to the hip-line, where it flared into layers of lace and soft tulle. Loved it! ♥

Mariné (April 2011)

Mariné got married in the picturesque Bonnievale, where she grew up. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her
soft pleated veiling and lace gown. The satin ribbon and brooch created a feminine empire band.

I just love how Carmen Visser captured the moment here:

Leoné (Oct 2010)

When Leoné steps into the room, she lights up your day...No wonder I had a great time creating her dress! Her crisp white
pleated gown flared into soft chiffon layers, giving a clean look with a feminine touch. What a stunning bride!

Nine (April 2011)

You will notice that Nine and I had quite the same look on our wedding days, so I won’t go on for too long about how much I loved her dress! She chose the most beautiful beaded chantilly lace which covered the bodice, flaring into layers of different kinds of vintage lace.  Simply gorgeous! Photographer: Maré Rootman

Elizna (April 2011)

Elizna had a simplistic but yet romantic look when she married Ockert in April. Her gown had a soft tulle layer with lace appliqué, pleated bodice and lace-up back. I just loved the light blue shoes she wore on her big day! Photo’s by Juné Joubert

Coba (Dec 2010)

Creative, spectacular and dramatic – That is how I would describe Coba’s wedding dress and her style. Her lace-appliquéd duchess satin gown was tight-fitting up to the hip, flaring out and creating a dramatic train. The back had an elegant chiffon drape finished off with a brooch.

Lindi (Dec 2010)

Lindi’s pleated raw silk gown had layers of soft tulle finished off with lace edging. The shoulder strap was covered with handmade silk flowers, and to give her look a bit of a twist, there was a layer of turquoise tulle peeking out at the bottom.

Vania (Oct 2010)

Every business has a “behind the scenes” fairy, a helping hand, an angel to make things run smoothly…My fairy is called Leonie.
When her daughter, Vania, got married I was delighted to be able to help her with the wedding dress.  Her dress had asymmetrical layers of vintage lace and a romantic lace bodice. The empire-line was hand-beaded and the look was finished off with a beautiful brooch.

The excited lady (in the middle) with the short hair is Leonie. Just thought I’d show you!
